Hybrid & EV FAQ

Do you work on Toyota Prius and other hybrid vehicles?

Yes. We service all hybrid vehicles including Toyota Prius, Camry Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Ford Escape Hybrid, Honda Accord Hybrid, Chevy Volt, and more. We handle both the conventional mechanical systems and hybrid-specific components.

Can you service electric vehicles (EVs)?

Yes, for the mechanical and 12V electrical systems. EVs still have brakes, suspension, steering, tires, cooling systems, and auxiliary batteries that require regular service. We service those systems on Tesla, Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan Leaf, and other EVs.

Is hybrid repair more expensive than regular car repair?

Hybrid-specific components like the high-voltage battery pack can be costly, but routine service — brakes, suspension, oil changes, filters — is comparable to conventional vehicles. We diagnose accurately so you only pay for what you actually need.

What is regenerative braking and can you service it?

Regenerative braking captures energy during deceleration to recharge the battery. Because of this, hybrid brake pads often last longer than conventional ones — but the system still needs inspection. We perform hybrid-aware brake service to ensure the regenerative system and conventional brakes work together properly.
