Murphy's Auto Repair was founded in 2025 by Rob Mixon and Sam Porterfield — two friends who grew up together in Rome, Georgia since age eight. After years of military service and a lifelong passion for vehicles, they came home to build something they could be proud of: an auto shop that serves the Pleasant View, Utah community with the same discipline and integrity they gave their country.
Rob completed eight years of service as airborne infantry in the U.S. Army. Sam served five years as a Navy submariner machinist mate and continues to serve in the Naval Reserves. Together, Rob's leadership and logistics experience and Sam's mechanical mastery and technical training form the backbone of everything we do at our shop on Highway 89 in Pleasant View.
Our mission is simple: honesty, reliability, and skilled workmanship. We believe every customer deserves a straight answer, a fair price, and work done right the first time. That's why we back every repair with a 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty — one of the strongest in the industry.
